Hiroaki Yoshida joined Toyota in 1970 after graduating from Keio University in Tokyo, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics. In 1997, Mr. Yoshida worked as general manager in the Telecommunications Business & Research Division and in 1998, served as general manager in the IT & Telecom Business Division. He was named to the Board of Directors in 1999 and now oversees Network Business Division, Intelligent Transportation Systems Planning Division and IT & ITS Sales Division.
