Mr. Norio Wada assumed the post of President and Chief Executive Officer of NTT in 2002. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Wada served as Senior Executive Vice President of NTT. Before that, he held a number of important posts with NTT. From 1996 to 1999, he was the Senior Executive Manager of Affiliated Business Headquarters. He was elected to NTT's board as a Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tohoku Regional Communications Sector in 1992. He joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation in 1964. Throughout his career he has made significant contributions to the growth of NTT Group�fs business.
Born in 1940, Mr. Wada graduated from Kyoto University with a bachelor's degree in Economics in 1964.
