He entered Tokyo Denki University in 1977. In 1979, when he was 19, he established a microcomputer programming office, "Arakawa Sekkei Jimusho." He withdrew from the University in 1984 and established ACCESS, a limited liability company, with Mr. Tomihisa Kamada and became its president. (Mr. Kamada who has been his partner since the establishment is now the executive vice president of the company.) With the motto of "sending Japanese original software out to the world," the company marches forward in research and development. In 1996, the company was reorganized as a joint stock company, and he became the president. At present, the company becomes a research and development type enterprise that leads the market in the field of Internet built into information electrical appliance, represented by browser software for mobile telephone. On February 26, 2001, the company went public and listed in TSE's Mothers market. It has subsidiaries in the United States, Germany and China, and branch offices in Spain and Taiwan.
