News Gathering Offices in Japan

Nikkei's news gathering network reaches far beyond economics into politics, international affairs, science and technology, society, culture, and sports. Approximately 1,300 reporters diligently gather the news day and night, based in head offices in Tokyo and Osaka, branch offices in Nagoya, Seibu, Sapporo, Kobe, and Kyoto, and in 54 news bureaus. News articles at reporter terminals are instantaneously delivered to the editorial bureau in the Tokyo and Osaka head offices, reviewed at the editorial desk and delivered to page editors.
