  • Understanding Individual Needs Accurately

    Mr. Matsumoto is opening up the way for a new stock investor group that trades stocks over the Internet or telephone with the sharp business sense of understanding individual needs. In August, Monex listed its shares in the stock market for the newly established companies, "Mothers" of the Tokyo Securities Exchange, which was realized only 16 months after the company was established.

    He took up a new course of life from the partner of the leading U.S. investment bank, Goldman Sachs Group. Mr. Matsumoto anticipated "a change equal to the Industrial Revolution in individual finances is upcoming due to the widespread use of the Internet".

    Mr. Matsumoto is practicing a managerial approach for the new era such as to keep stock prices in a range that even individual investors could afford by repeating capital increase through shareholder allocation of one-yen one-stock. Graduated from the Faculty of Law at University of Tokyo. Aged 36.
